It’s no mystery why so many companies sell “anti-aging” and other nutritional products for dogs.
Around the world, countless advertisers, websites and pet food companies are responding to all the negative ideas about aging in our pets.
Almost from the beginning (often starting with the first dog we got as a kid), we are inundated with messages that say, “as your dog gets older, he/she is going to develop stiff joints, dementia, or even cancer. That's just the way it goes”. Even when the latest in nutritional research shows evidence to the contrary and that there is so much you can do to increase your dog's health-span.
It’s a little absurd when you think about it.
We all want our dogs to have long, healthy lives… but we’re often not taught what proper nutrition really is. Many veterinarians are great at diagnosis and clinical procedures, but a surprising number don't know much about the latest advances in nutrition... it’s ridiculous.
Our founders recognized this disconnect.
