No More Rimadyl!
I purchased this item for our senior dwarf beagle, Lily. Due to her congenital dwarfism, Lily has always had a lot of pain and problems with her hips, back and legs. She was having progressively more pain, so our vet put her on daily Rimadyl. I hated the idea of her being on Rimadyl long term, but of she missed a dose, she would be in so much pain that she would shake. It broke my heart.
A couple months ago I found this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I kept her on it for a few weeks and then slowly began reducing her Rimadyl, anxious to see her take less of it due to how hard it is on the liver and other organs. I'm not going to tell anyone that Lily is running around like a puppy, but she IS completely off of the Rimadyl and only needs a dose here and there on very bad days. Tried and True
One of our miniature Schnauzers has had flatulence, bad breath and aching joints for the past couple of years. We tried the grass-smelling kind of scoopable probiotic in her food for a month and a half, but as much as she enjoyed the taste, her tummy seemed to be upset by it. We've gone through two shipments of these Amazing Probiotics now and she's up to 3 pills a day. She does like crunching the tablets - they're smaller than the vitamin treats I give them and she likes the flavor - but I've been using my mortar and pestle and grinding the pills up, then mixing it in her food with some warm water. They love it when I make them "stew" like that.
Her flatulence is all but gone, and her breath does seem a little better. I have noted that she's more willing to get up and move around, as well. It seems to take less time for her joints to limber up, as well. Once she's been up for a minute or so, she bounces around like a puppy again.

This product really does work!!
We rescued our Sofie about 30 months ago. She will be 16 yrs. old in May, and we were told a Bichon mix. She has always seemed to have somewhat of a sensitive stomach, but recently she had issues with diarrhea and sometimes vomiting her meals, but hours later after she ate. We were very concerned! The Vet could not really isolate a problem and just thought maybe she ate something outside, etc. (which is not her habit at all) I found this product, and since she is older and has some arthritis, it sounded like a perfect product for her! She has been on it for about a month, and her issues have resolved at least 90%! We only give her one tablet a day with her breakfast. (She weighs about 20 lbs.) This has also seemed to improve her mobility! What more could we ask for?! I highly recommend this product!

Worked Perfect For Our Dog!
Great product. Our cocker spaniel is 11 years old and was starting to have joint issues. He would have trouble getting up after he had been sitting or sleeping for long periods of time. When speaking to our veterinarian about his joint issues, he recommended putting him on some joint supplements. I found these while searching Amazon and decided to give them a try. After a couple months of taking them, our dog has had much less joint issues. He's running around and playing like he's a puppy again. This has also helped with his bowel movements. They look a lot healthier than they did before he started taking the supplements. We will continue giving him these. He is around 25 lbs. and we give him two pills a day with his food in the morning. I highly recommend giving these a try.

Get this!! My old girls have come alive again!
Both our dogs are getting way up there in years. Nala, our pitbull, is 14, and Lady, our min pin is 13. They are actually both in great health for their age, just getting slower and Nala has arthritis in her rear right leg. She couldn't get up from a laying position without our help and she couldn't sit. Sometimes she would have a poopie accident where she laid because of the strain of trying to get up. Walks were non existent, she didn't like them and limped for a few minutes and wanted to go home. Well no more!!!
We went to the vet and initially he prescribed (expensive!!) arthritis and pain meds for Nala. Not only did they only offer partial relief but the meds made her lethargic and downright loopy sometimes. We didn't like that one bit. She's normally so alert and happy. So the vet suggested these particular probiotics (even showing us this on Amazon on his phone). We are SOOOOO glad he did. It took about three weeks (Nala gets 3 a day and Lady gets 1) but Nala is completely off meds and is not only getting up on her own, not having indoor accidents and asking for walks again, but she is trotting and nearly running when we go outside! I couldn't be happier -- and neither could she :)
As for Lady, she was just slower and didn't bop around as much, but now she's running around like a puppy when we go out, she's dancing on her two hind legs again when she's asking for a treat and she running in circles and hopping around again when she's excited.
Plus, both their poopies are normal and regular every day again. Outstanding results.
I feel like years of life have been given to our two girls. It's been a joyful experience to watch them come to life again. 100% recommend this!!
WARNING: initially when we bought these we returned them. Nala got bad diarrhea after taking them. However we discovered that was OUR error and bought them again to try. So glad we did. Start with 1 a day for large dogs and work your way up to the full dose...and don't give all at once initially. Now she gets all three at once and is just fine. But don't do that right away. And BTW they eat them like treats -- they love the taste. No cheese or other "packaging" required.

Awesome
My English Setter, Zachary, has a multitude of health issues and is on Rimadyl and a narcotic for a bad back. After 3 months of antibiotics from undiagnosed dental issues that finally ended in major dental surgery, He was gassy and constipated. I thought a probiotic would be prudent. After one day, he was jumping around like his old self. As I bought this for his stomach, I thought this was a fluke. One week later he is going strong. As he is heading into kidney failure it would be good to get him off Rimadyl. I plan to begin reducing the Rimadyl and see how it goes. As for the taste, I can't comment. Zachary is picky and it goes down every time. Try this. It is awesome!

My Lady is like a child to me
She is a 10-year-old, 108 lb Akbash. She is diabetic (needs insulin injections) and has hypothyroidism. Both are under control, but she had developed some arthritis and digestive issues which prompted me to start her on supplements. She’s on a couple different vitamins, but the probiotic is definitely helping her. I’m fairly confident that the combination of supplements is right for her. She is getting around easier, and her digestion seems like it’s back on track. She’s taking 2 of the probiotic tablets daily, and that seems about right. Life Saver for Vomiting Dog
My Doberman is 7 years old now. For those years of her life before I found this product, she was plagued with vomiting her meals. I don't know how many times we changed her food, cooked chicken or hamburger for her, used prescription food from the vet ($expensive$) to stop her vomiting.But nothing worked. Then we thought it may be that she was drinking too much water so (poor baby) we limited her water. Then I was put on probiotics for My vomiting and (light bulb) of course maybe it will help the dog. What a God send.... She has not vomited her meals since she started these probiotics. Thank-you , Thank-you, Thank-you for your amazing product. 1. What are the ingredients?
Lactobacillus Acidophilus 7.5 B cfu/g, Pancreatic 4X (Proprietary Blend of Amylase, Lipase, Protease) 25 mg, Glucosamine Sulfate 100 mg, Chondroitin Sulfate 100 mg, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 100 mg.
Other Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate, Liver (dessicated beef, undefatted), Stearic acid, Whey, Bacon flavor, Magnesium stearate and Silicon dioxide, Microcrystalline cellulose.

2. What's the correct dosage for my dog?
The number of tablets to give your dog each day depends on both their weight and their individual health condition. Here are the general guidelines for most products:
To start, give your dog no more than ONE tablet daily with meals for the first 2-3 days (1/2 tablet if your dog is really little or has a sensitive stomach.) This will allow him or her to adjust gradually to this change in diet.
Then, after the few days we suggest gradually increasing the dosage each day by one tablet until you reach the recommended dose by dog weight:
Under 25 lbs = 1 tablet per day (or 1/2 tablet per day for really small dogs)
25-50 lbs = 2 tablets per day
50-75 lbs = 3 tablets per day
75+ lbs = 4 tablets per day (or more for really large breeds)
However... each dog is an individual with a different health situation, and so you may need to adjust the dosage (giving more or fewer tablets per day) for your dog.
The idea is give your dog just enough each day to create a positive response. A 100 lb dog may respond great to one tablet per day, while a 25 lb dog may need four per day to help their conditions.
Then if you feel it's needed for your dog's weight or condition (eg: digestive problems, or joint stiffness), then you can start to increase the dosage by one per day until you reach up to four per day (larger dogs may require a larger dose.)
In any case please do not to worry... we formulated this product to be totally safe for dogs of all sizes, even at the higher recommended dosage. If you have any further questions about how much to give your dog, or if you want advice on giving a larger dose than four per day, please let us know!

3. Where are the ingredients sourced?
Your pet's health matters to you, and to us. All of our products are made in the USA, and most ingredients are sourced from the USA. Some ingredients are sourced from safe and sustainable locations outside the USA when they must be. For example, our fish oil comes from pollack which comes from the North Atlantic Ocean near Iceland. Our turmeric comes from South Asia. All ingredients are tested for purity and potency before we use them, and if something fails our tests, we send it back. All finished products are manufactured in small batches in our GMP organic certified facility, and 3rd-party-tested for safety, potency, and to ensure there are no contaminants.

7. Should I give this product with food?
You can give it whenever is convenient, but the product will be better absorbed when given with meals.

8. Should I give the daily dose all at once, or spread it throughout the day?
Either way. But if your dog gets multiple tablets each day, it will be better absorbed when given throughout the day.

9. What is the shelf life of the product?
Generally 2 years from the date it was manufactured, but highest potency is during the first year. The bottom (underside) of the bottle shows a date and is clearly marked with either the manufacturing date or the "best buy" date. If you ever receive an expired bottle, contact us for a free replacement.

10. What if I don't notice a difference after a few weeks?
For most dogs the #1 most important thing to seeing positive results is making sure the animal is receiving the proper dosage. Please see our dosage recommendations above.

11. Are the tablets crunchy or soft?
Our tablets are crunchy chews. These tend to stay fresh longer than soft chews (which contain lots of moisture) and ours require far fewer preservatives... which is better for your dog. It helps with cleaning their teeth as well. Plus we have found that most dogs love to crunch on them!
If they are too hard for your dog, you can crush the tablet and mix with food. This can be done most easily using an inexpensive pill crusher, which can be found at any pharmacy.
But if your dog still won't take it, contact us immediately for a full refund (no need to return the bottle.)

12. What about if my dog won't eat it?
While most dogs gobble these down, for a select few it works best to wrap the tablet in something they like eating (eg: roast beef), or crush the tablet and mix with their food. You can get a pill crusher at most drug stores, which makes this very fast and easy.
No matter what, if your dog still won't take it or there is any other issue, just let us know and we'll issue you a full refund... no need to return the bottle.
